Suns' Davies wins tribunal appeal, cleared for Demons
Tribunal overturned Davies' one-match suspension, clearing her for this weekend's AFLW match against Melbourne.
Georja Davies will play this weekend after Gold Coast's tribunal challenge succeeded. Davies had been banned for rough conduct in an incident with Brisbane's Shanae Davison.
The Suns argued the contact was low impact, not medium, and that a bump was reasonable in the circumstances. Medical evidence showed Davison needed no assessment and did not leave the field.
The tribunal accepted the argument. Gold Coast sit fourth on the AFLW ladder with a 6-2 record.
