O'Driscoll heads to Richmond in AFL trade
Nathan O'Driscoll was traded from Fremantle to Richmond for a fourth-round draft pick on Tuesday.
O'Driscoll was traded to Richmond in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick (No.61) on Tuesday. The Dockers wingman played 55 games over six seasons for Fremantle, including 17 this year.
Nathan O'Driscoll requested the trade only a week after losing his spot in the team's best 23 following the Dockers' playoff loss to Hawthorn. The 24-year-old averaged 17 disposals and won a second premiership with Peel Thunder in the WAFL this season.
Richmond finished last season with just three wins and is rebuilding under coach Adem Yze.
